Golf
The South Pacific has a huge number of internationally acclaimed
golf courses. Try Millbrook in New Zealand where former President
Clinton played or Gulf Harbor on the North Island. Or play
a round on one of the courses where the Australian Open is
held, such as the Royal Melbourne. Fiji has several courses
including those at the Sheraton Denarau Resort and at Pacific
Harbor. You can take your own clubs or rent them when you
get there.
Fishing
Deep Sea fishing is renowned in Australia. Try Black Marlin
fishing in September near Cairns or catch a Barramundi near
Darwin. In the southern waters try for whiting and other Australian
fish. In Tasmania or New Zealand there is excellent Rainbow
and Brown trout fly-fishing.
Food & Wine
Australia and New Zealand boast some of the world’s
best wines. Due to the diversity of ethnicity, there is a
wealth of fabulous food to choose from. Try the nouvelle Australian
cuisine made with local fresh produce, or try Thai, Chinese,
Italian, Greek, Seafood or the Aussie Meat Pie! Add a bottle
of wonderful red or white wine and you will be well satiated.

Diving

there, or try an Introductory Dive to see how you like it.
Experienced divers can do live-aboard dive cruises, dive with
sharks, see the famous Minke whales, spectacular coral cays,
shipwrecks and marine life seen nowhere else in the world.
Spa Vacations
Try the most relaxing vacation in the South Pacific. Many
hotels and resorts offer spa facilities. In New Zealand you
can soak in the natural thermal springs of Rotorua or have
a full body mud pack in the mineral rich local mud. Many luxury
lodges have spa facilities in-house. In Australia you can
be pampered deep in the rainforest or under a palm tree on
