Day 1 Arrive Sydney, Australia
On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation: Sydney, Hotel Ibis Darling Harbour (Standard), Grace Hotel (First Class), Four Seasons Hotel (Deluxe) for three nights.

Day 2 Sydney City Sights & Harbor Cruise
On today’s sightseeing and harbor cruise, view the Sydney Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. Pass the Botanic Gardens en route to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair for city and harbor views. See stately homes and architectural masterpieces, from the historic Rocks area to the exclusive Eastern Suburbs and famous Bondi Beach. (L)

Day 3 Blue Mountains & Wildlife
Journey to the spectacular Blue Mountains National Park and see the famous Three Sisters rock formation. Continue on to visit Echo Point Lookout and hear traditional Aboriginal Dreamtime tales interpreting the creation of local landmarks. After lunch, perhaps ride on the Scenic Railway, Cableway or Skyway (optional, own expense). Travel to Koala Park for a special wildlife encounter before returning to Sydney. (L)

Day 4 Sydney / Ayers Rock
Fly to Ayers Rock (airfare not included). On arrival transfer to the hotel. Join an afternoon tour to the Olgas and return to Ayers Rock to view the sunset. Accommodation: Ayers Rock, Outback Pioneer (Standard), Desert Gardens (First Class), Sails in the Desert (Deluxe) for two nights.

Day 5 Ayers Rock Base Tour
One hour before sunrise, depart for a climb of Ayers Rock. Tour the base of the rock and visit ancient Aboriginal sites. The rest of the day at leisure to explore life in the Red Center.

Day 6 Ayers Rock / Cairns
Today fly to Cairns (airfare not included). On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Day at leisure. Accommodation: Cairns, Cairns Colonial Club (Standard), Rydges Tradewinds (First Class), Sofitel Reef Casino Cairns (Deluxe) for three nights.

Day 7 Great Barrier Reef Cruise
Enjoy a full day cruise to Michaelmas Cay. Experience the Great Barrier Reef first-hand on a beautiful coral cay with coral gardens and a myriad of marine life surrounding a protected sanctuary— a haven for any nature lover. (L)

Day 8 Kuranda Day Excursion
Travel on the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail. Experience gliding over the rainforest canopy aboard Skyrail. Discover Aboriginal culture at the world-renowned Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. (L)

Day 9 Cairns / Auckland, New Zealand
Today is at leisure until the flight to Auckland (airfare not included). On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation: Auckland, Copthorne Hotel Anzac Avenue (Standard), SKYCITY Hotel (First Class), Hyatt Regency Auckland (Deluxe).

Day 10 Auckland / Waitomo / Rotorua
Travel to the Waitomo Caves for an underground boat ride and guided tour of the famous Glow Worm Grotto. Continue to Rotorua. Tonight enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast) and concert. Accommodation: Rotorua,  Hotel Ibis (Standard), Lakeside Novotel (First Class), Millennium Hotel (Deluxe). (L,D)

Day 11 Rotorua Sightseeing / Christchurch
Experience Rotorua: Rainbow Springs, the Agrodome sheep show, Te Puia Thermal Reserve and the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute. Fly from Rotorua (airfare not included) to Christchurch. Accommodation: Christchurch, The Elms Hotel (Standard), Copthorne Central (First Class), The George Hotel (Deluxe).

Day 12 Christchurch / Mount Cook / Queenstown
Travel across the Canterbury Plains, through the MacKenzie Country via Lake Tekapo, to Mount Cook National Park. We suggest an optional scenic flight (own expense) over this magnificent alpine scenery. Continue to Queenstown. Accommodation: Queenstown, Kingsgate Resort Terraces (Standard), Copthorne Lakefront (First Class), Heritage Queenstown (Deluxe) for three nights.

Day 13 Milford Sound Day Excursion
Travel to Te Anau. View Mirror Lakes en route to the Hollyford Valley. From the Homer Tunnel emerge into the Cleddau Valley. Join the Milford Sound cruise and explore this majestic fiord. (L)

Day 14 Queenstown
Day at leisure to explore this exciting city.

Day 15 Queenstown
Tour concludes this morning.
