Day 1 Arrive Queenstown
Upon arrival in Queenstown, transfer by private car to the hotel. Queenstown is a year round adventure resort town with a range of sightseeing and adventure activities available (activities, own expense). Accommodation: Queenstown, Copthorne Lakefront (Standard), Heritage Hotel (First Class), Sofitel Queenstown (Deluxe), Remarkables Lodge (Boutique) for three nights.

Day 2 Discover Milford Sound with Scenic Flight
Journey along the edge of Lake Wakatipu beneath the rugged Remarkables, to Te Anau for a morning tea break (own expense). Enter the Fiordland National Park, pausing at the Mirror Lakes, before passing through the Hollyford Valley. The road climbs to enter the Homer Tunnel, and emerges above the Cleddau Valley before descending down to Milford Sound. After a cruise on the majestic Milford Sound, return to Queenstown via a scenic flight over the Southern Alps (subject to weather conditions). (L)

Day 3 Queenstown at Leisure
Enjoy a Shotover Jet ride, or a full day Queenstown tour with a small group of discerning travelers (activities, own expense).

Day 4 Depart Queenstown
Transfer by private car back to the airport for an onward flight (flight, own expense).
