Day 1: Los Angeles to Fiji
Depart tonight for Nadi, Fiji Islands.
Day 2: Enroute
Cross the international dateline tonight. Today “disappears” but will be regained
on your return flight home.
Day 3: Arrive Fiji / Board MV Reef Escape
Be greeted on arrival in Nadi with a fragrant, flower lei. Your reserved day-use room is available upon arrival. At 1:00pm, board the MV Reef Escape. “Ni Sa Bula” is the call of welcome as you sail for Tivua Island. Overnight: MV Reef Escape for three nights (D)
Day 4: Sacred Island
The birthplace of Fijian culture, the Sacred Island is a magical place. Revel in a day of swimming in the aquamarine lagoons and exploring spectacular coral gardens. Depart for Nalauwaki Bay for a village choir service. This evening enjoy the Fijian show. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Waya Island & Kava Ceremony
Enclosed by towering volcanic peaks
and palm-fringed beaches, Waya Island
is a tropical paradise. Sun and relaxation are the agenda for the day. Later in the afternoon, experience Fijian village culture
and visit the local market. Tonight a
traditional meke and “lovo” feast are
hosted by the local village. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Nadi / Sonaisali
Reef Escape arrives at Denarau Marina around 9:00am. Transfer to Sonaisali
Island Resort, 25 minutes south of Nadi. Overnight: Sonaisali Island Resort for
four nights (B)
Days 7-9: Orchid Tour & Village Visit
Visit the Garden of the Sleeping Giant,
one of the world’s finest orchid gardens. This afternoon, time is available in Nadi
for shopping. Days 8 and 9 at leisure to enjoy this award-winning resort. (B daily)
Day 10: Depart Nadi / Los Angeles
Day at leisure. A late checkout has been arranged before your return flight this evening. A private car will transfer you
to the airport. (B)
