Day 1 Palm Valley / Kings Canyon
Depart Alice Springs and journey westward in view of the West MacDonnell Ranges National Park. Stop in the spectacular Palm Valley in Finke Gorge National Park and return via one of the world’s oldest riverbeds to historic Hermannsburg Aboriginal community for lunch. Continue to Watarrka National Park. Accommodation: Voyages Kings Canyon Resort, Standard Room (Standard), or Deluxe Spa Room (Deluxe). (L)

Day 2 Kings Canyon / Uluru-Kata Tjuta Nat’l Park
Rise early to climb to the top of Kings Canyon through ancient geological remnants and oases of vegetation—one of the most striking walks in Central Australia. Then journey to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park for an afternoon tour to the Olgas (Kata Tjuta). If you have chosen to attend the renowned Sounds of Silence dinner, you’ll return to Ayers Rock Resort in time to change before the pick up. Otherwise, remain at Kata Tjuta to witness the spectacular color change on the domes of Kata Tjuta at sunset, with complimentary champagne. Day 3 Uluru (Ayers Rock)
A highlight of the tour is the visit to Uluru. Walk the 6 miles around its base and follow the Tjukurpa (creation stories) on the famous Uluru Walk or choose a leisurely vehicle-based tour with walks on the Spirit of Uluru. Both expose you to the rich cultural and ecological values of this World Heritage-listed National Park. Depart Ayers Rock on an early afternoon flight (airfare not included). (B)
