Tour to Litchfield National Park |
Travel south from Darwin and ascend
the Tabletop Range, where woodlands
and forests dominate the huge sandstone
plateau. Stop to view giant magnetic
termite mounds, some standing over
6 feet tall. See the picturesque Florence
Falls. Continue to spectacular Tolmer
Falls, plunging into a deep waterhole
below. Then head to the rock pool
at Wangi Falls for a refreshing swim
(conditions permitting), or take a walk
to the top of the falls. Return to Darwin
at 6:00 pm.
