Day 1 Sydney / Coffs Harbour
Depart Sydney at 8:00am from Sofitel Wentworth Sydney
for a scenic drive to Coffs Harbor.

Day 2 Surfers Paradise / Brisbane
Visit the town of Byron Bay, famous for its relaxing lifestyle
and idyllic climate.

Day 3 Brisbane, Sunshine Coast,
Australia Zoo, Fraser Island
11 day passengers join this morning. Travel north to Brisbane.
Visit the Australia Zoo for a real wildlife experience. Made famous
by Steve Irwin, Australia Zoo houses over 500 animals and gives
you the chance to see wild-caught crocodiles in action during
the crocodile show. Continue via the Sunshine Coast to Hervey
Bay and join a cruise to Fraser Island.

Day 4 Freedom of Choice Touring, Bush Tucker
Talk & Barbecue
Join a guided early morning birdwatchers tour then explore
Fraser Island with our Freedom of Choice options. Travel with
a local ranger on a 4WD adventure visiting Lake MacKenzie
and Wangoolba Creek. Or, join a whale or dolphin watching
cruise (subject to season). Adventure Option: upgrade to a
full day 4WD rainforest and eastern beaches tour (additional
cost). Tonight, enjoy our Bush Tucker Talk with a park ranger
and chef before savoring a delicious Bush Tucker barbecue.

Day 5 Tropic of Capricorn /
Rockhampton
Enjoy the island until we bid farewell to Fraser Island. Tonight,
consider a farmstay at Henderson Park (additional $US75 per

Day 6 Mackay / Hamilton Island
Visit Henderson Park, a working sheep and cattle station,
for a tour of the property before traveling north to Mackay,
Australia’s main sugar producing center. Travel to Hamilton
Island, just one of seventy-four islands in the Whitsundays.

Day 7 Hamilton Island, Sunset Drinks
Awaken to views of the Whitsundays and spend the day at
leisure, choosing from over 40 different activities offered on
the island. This evening, enjoy sunset drinks before choosing
from four top restaurants to dine at, and no matter which
one is chosen, we’ll include it. (B,D)
Day 8 Townsville / Dunk Island
Journey through the mango plantations of Bowen to Townsville.
At Mission Beach, transfer to Dunk Island, one of the Barrier
Reef’s most beautiful islands. Unwind at this idyllic resort.

Day 9 Dunk Island at Leisure
Today is at leisure. Relax and discover all that Dunk Island

Day 10 Millaa Millaa Falls, Port Douglas
Return to the mainland and tour the lush Atherton Tablelands.
Join a wildlife cruise at Lake Barrine and visit beautiful Millaa
Millaa Falls and the unique Curtain Fig Tree. Travel to Port
Douglas and tonight, choose to dine at a local restaurant
or the resort.

Day 11 Quicksilver Barrier Reef
Cruise, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today explore the Great Barrier Reef your way, with three
exciting Quicksilver cruises to choose from. All cruises include
a delicious lunch on board and offer full bar facilities. Cruise to
the Outer Barrier Reef on the “Wavepiercer.” At Agincourt Reef,
a magnificent ribbon reef, go snorkeling with the tropical fish
or view the coral from the semi-sub. Or, go sailing on the
“Wavedancer” luxury catamaran. Soak up the sun as you cruise
the Coral Sea before mooring in the Low Isles where first-time
snorkelers can head in from the beach. The third option is
for the adventurous. Join the “Silversonic” and travel further
out to sea for snorkeling in remote Outer Reef locations.

Day 12 Cairns, Kuranda, Farewell Dinner
Take a ride aboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway up to
Rainforestation and see the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers.
Later, ride the Kuranda Skyrail and glide over the rainforest
canopy, on the journey down the mountain range. This evening
enjoy a special Farewell Dinner at Cairns Night Zoo – a great
Australian night to celebrate with newly found friends. (B,D)

Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Cairns Airport.
