Day 1 Arrive Ayers Rock / Kata Tjuta
Arrive prior to 1:00pm and transfer from the airport to the
hotel. This afternoon, visit the remarkable 36 domes of Kata
Tjuta (Olgas). Take a guided walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge
before enjoying a glass of wine while watching the changing
colors of Uluru as the sun sets. Accommodation: Ayers Rock
Resort, Lost Camel (Standard), Desert Gardens (First Class)
or Sails in the Desert (Deluxe) for two nights.

Day 2 Uluru Base Tour / Sounds of Silence
Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as the sun’s first rays strike
Uluru (Ayers Rock). Join a guided walk to the waterhole at
Mutitjulu, viewing ancient cave paintings and learning of
the region’s geology and flora. Visit Kantju Gorge, a sacred
waterhole and old hunting ground, the Cultural Center, and
the Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative. Tonight, experience
the famous Sounds of Silence dinner. Enjoy uninterrupted
views of this vast landscape, authentic Australian delicacies
including barramundi, kangaroo, emu, and crocodile,
complemented by some of Australia’s finest wines. Later
the resident astronomer guides a tour of the spectacular
southern night sky. (D)
Day 3 Depart Ayers Rock
At leisure until a transfer to Ayers Rock Airport for an
onward flight.
